I’ve got to admit that I’m a bit of a bah humbug when it ones to the C word. The C word should only pass our lips AFTER 5th November!! (I do rant about this quite a lot). I don’t particularly like the build-up. As soon as the kids go back to school in September that’s it, the marketing onslaught in shops and in the media begins. You’ve only just stepped your toe on UK soil from a summer holiday abroad when the kids start singing ‘Santa Claus is coming to town…’
